Where we work
Locksmith in Petrer, Novelda, Pinoso and the towns around Elda
Every quarter of Elda, Petrer next door, and the Vinalopó towns out to Pinoso, Salinas and Monforte del Cid. Every service on this site is available in each of them.
Elda, quarter by quarter
The four parts of Elda, and what helps when you ring from each
Elda is easiest to describe by its quarters. These are the four groupings the town uses for its own history of its neighbourhoods, with the barrios in each.
-
The old town and La Purísima
The oldest streets, narrow and winding, climbing towards the castle. The town council has been rebuilding the streets around it since 2025, and Calle Independencia and Plaza de San Antón have already reopened.
Give the nearest square or wider street as well as the house number: the van parks where it can and the last stretch may be on foot.
-
Fraternidad
Blocks of flats from the decades when the footwear trade drew workers to Elda, including the Virgen de la Cabeza housing group. Tafalera and Numancia are now being replanned.
Say the block or staircase and the floor. In older buildings the street door and your own door are two separate locks.
-
La Torreta and the station
Residential streets around the Elda-Petrer railway station, which has served the two towns since 1858.
If you have just come off a train with no keys, the station building is an easy place for us to find you.
-
San Francisco de Sales
San Francisco de Sales is a planned estate of 580 homes built between 1956 and 1968, listed by Docomomo Ibérico. Las Trescientas is another housing group of the same era.
Many blocks look alike from the street. The name of the group plus your block number gets us to the right entrance.
Also covered: Zona Centro, El Progreso, Ciudad Vergel, Campo Alto, and every other street in the municipality.
Beyond Elda
Petrer and the towns of the valley
Petrer and Elda run into each other with no gap between them, which is why some streets are hard to place in one town or the other. The guide to streets that change town explains how to describe where you are. The other towns are listed nearest first.
-
Petrer
Joined to Elda without a gap: together the two towns have close to 87,000 people. Its old town climbs steeply to the castle, and its chalets spread over urbanisations such as Loma Bada and the partida of Caprala. Including Casco antiguo, San Rafael, El Campet, Loma Bada, Caprala.
-
Monóvar
Wine country to the west of Elda, home of Fondillón, and the town where the writer Azorín was born in 1873.
-
Pinoso
Marble from Monte Coto and vineyards. Almost a quarter of its 8,854 residents are foreign nationals, with British residents the largest group.
-
Salinas
A small town of about 1,800 people in the Alto Vinalopó, beside the dry salt lagoon from which salt was taken until 1950.
-
Novelda
Joint capital of the comarca with Elda and the centre of the marble trade, with the Sanctuary of La Magdalena and La Mola castle above the town.
-
Aspe
A town of about 21,000 among the vineyards of Vinalopó bagged table grapes.
-
Monforte del Cid
Bagged table grapes under the Vinalopó designation, and some of the comarca’s marble works.
In the countryside around any of them, a WhatsApp location pin is more use than an address. Every way to reach us is on the contact page.
In every town
